Paul Huang has extensive leadership experience with large, medium, and start-up companies. As CEO of Fortemedia since 2000, Paul is responsible for overseeing all business operations, technology development, financial management, and governance of Fortemedia. Previously, he served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Novas Software. Prior, he was the Executive VP of Product Development at Quickturn Design Systems. He had also served as the President of PiE Design, a company he co-founded in 1990. Earlier, he was a co-founder of Cadence Design Systems, and served as Executive VP of Research and Development at Cadence. Paul was the recipient of the Phil Kaufman Award for year 2000.
Dr. Dong provides management guidance and oversees all functions in Fortemedia. Dr. Dong served as Vice President, Fortemdia Engineering from 2008 to 2010. Under his leadership, FM developed the state-of-the-art acoustic solution for mobile segment. Before joining Fortemedia, Dr. Ping was founder of Auvitek International and OSEE Technology, which was acquired by ESS Technology later. Dr. Dong served as Vice president, Communication Engineering in ESS from 1996 to 2004.
Dr. Dong has 14 issued US patents and more pending applications in areas of digital communication and networking algorithms, silicon DAA, composite video signal separation, DTV demodulations.
