This Privacy Policy applies to Fortemedia, Inc. and/or its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us” collectively). This privacy policy includes matters we must inform you of under the law. In respect of any voice data you have supplied, we hereby notify you of the following items according to applicable laws:
a. Purpose:
Your voice data will be collected, processed and used as appropriate for the purposes of registering your voice data to improve your voice quality and noise suppression effectiveness as captured by your device’s microphone(s). No other personal data of yours will be collected, processed or used by us.
If you have not stated your refusal, and through the use of the “Voice DNA” personalized noise suppression feature, you will be deemed to have accepted this Privacy Policy and to have agreed that we or our affiliates have been premised to collect, process, and use your voice data under this Privacy Policy, till the purpose of collection no longer exists or you cease using the “Voice DNA” personalized noise suppression feature. If you choose not to provide your voice data, you may not be able to receive our complete product functionality and/or performance of “Voice DNA” personalized noise suppression feature.
We will collect, process and use your voice data after you enable the “Voice DNA” personalized noise suppression feature in your device(s). With your permission, your voice will be acquired by such device/product and then analyzed by such device/product to generate a personalized noise suppressor.
b. Scope of Use and Users:
We will not collect, analyze or use your voice data other than for the above purpose.
Your voice data will be stored solely in your device(s) and we will not have any access to, or control over your voice data. If you wish to cease our collection, processing or use of your voice data through our software, you may disable “Voice DNA” personalized noise suppression feature or uninstall our software from your device(s).
We do not sell your voice data.
c. Additional Clauses for Compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) applicable to EU citizens and residents.
If you are an EU citizen or resident, we process your voice data on the following legal bases:
(i) The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); and
(ii) The processing is based on your consent where required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

If you believe that we have not complied with the applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
We reserve the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time and notify you by posting an updated version of the policy on our website at www.fortemedia.com/SAMSoft-Privacy. If you do not refuse to accept the updated version and continue to use the software after the updated version is released, you will be deemed to have agreed to be subject to the updated Privacy Policy.
