Fortemedia’s small array microphone (sam), featuring always-on capability with extremely low standby current to save power, is best suited to portable and mobile application for its ultra-small footprint. It can always stay turned-on to monitor environment noise with low power consumption and wake up the system with pre-programmed command.

FL214

General Description: FL214 is a high-performance analog MEMS Microphone IC. It consists of an amplifier as voltage multiplier and output buffer, a low-noise charge pump with built-in reference and oscillator charge MEMS microphone element.

The IC amplifies the incoming microphone signal in order to increase immunity of the signal output to system noise, and charges the MEMS microphone to reduce the risk of microphone losing its charge if exposed to the natural environment.

Features:
  • Integrated charge pump for MEMS microphone biasing
  • Reduce components and layout
  • Wide power supply range from 1.62V to 3.6V (2.2V typical)

FL215

General Description: FL215 is a high-performance analog MEMS Microphone IC. It consists of an amplifier as voltage multiplier and output buffer, a low-noise charge pump with built-in reference and oscillator charge to bias MEMS microphone sensor. It also has E-Fuse to trim gain to program the output to a desired sensitivity. The IC can amplify or attenuate incoming microphone signal in order to produce a desired output within a certain precision.

Features:
  • High performance SNR with low Noise Floor
  • Support either 2-wire or 3-wire applications
  • Support E-Fuse timing trimming to match -38 dBV or -42 dBV output
  • Low power consumption
  • Ultra-low input capacitance CMOS preamplifier
  • Integrated charge pump for MEMS microphone biasing
  • Internal RF filtering cap at AOUT and VDD for better RF immunity
  • High output drive to drive up to 10K load
  • Wide power supply range from 1.6V to 3.6V (1.8V typical)
